What's Your Excuse?

I want to start off by saying that this blog is not intended to make you feel bad. It is short, to the point and intended to make you think about your current situation and challenge you to do something about it.

Yesterday began as any other day, with a 6:00am training session. This happened to be the very first session for this particular client. Shortly after arriving, a generator blew and knocked out the electricity for the entire area. As we scrounged around, using only a cell phone to see, we were able to find 3 candles. So, due to the fact that it was her first session and not knowing how she would feel about beginning a training program in basically total darkness, I gave her an out and asked if she wanted to reschedule. She quickly let me know that she was ready to train! DEDICATION! Faced with adversity and a way out, she chose not to take it. She could have easily and justifiably used the darkness as an excuse to put it off that day, but she didn't. What will you choose today?
